This Shipping & Delivery Policy applies to all garment washing, tumble drying, and finishing services provided by Ganapathy Dryers. By placing an bulk processing order with us or sending goods to our facility, you agree to the terms outlined below regarding the transport and delivery of your goods.

2. Service Area

We primarily cater to the textile industry's needs within the region.

  • Service Coverage: Our primary focus is on bulk (B2B) garment manufacturers and exporters located in and around Tirupur.
  • Logistics: Our logistics planning is optimized for local and regional industrial transport corridors to ensuring timely movement of goods.

3. Pickup & Delivery Responsibility

The responsibility for transporting goods to and from our factory is determined at the time of order booking:

  • Customer-Arranged Transport: Customers may choose to drop off and pick up goods using their own vehicles or third-party logistics providers. This is the standard mode of operation.
  • Company-Arranged Transport: Upon specific request and subject to vehicle availability, we may arrange transport for substantial bulk orders. This service is discretionary and may attract additional charges.

4. Processing & Dispatch Timeline

We strive to process and dispatch goods within the agreed turnaround time.

  • Estimated Time: Standard processing usually takes between 24 to 72 hours, depending on order volume, process complexity (e.g., special finishes or heavy washing), and current factory load.
  • Dependency Disclaimer: Timelines provided are estimates. Processing may take longer due to technical factors such as fabric behavior requiring re-runs or additional drying cycles to ensure quality.

5. Shipping Charges

Transport costs are not included in our standard processing rates unless explicitly stated in a written contract.

  • Charges at Actuals: Freight charges for pickup or delivery arranged by us will be billed separately at actuals.
  • Payment: Any applicable transport charges must be settled along with the service invoice before the release of goods.

6. Delay & Force Majeure

Ganapathy Dryers is not liable for shipment delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Power outages or machinery breakdowns affecting production schedules.
  • Severe weather conditions, floods, road blocks, or transport strikes.
  • Vehicle breakdowns during transit.

7. Risk During Transit

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, goods are transported at the customer's own risk.

  • Duty of Care: We exercise due care when handling your garments.
  • Transit Risk: We accept no liability for theft, pilferage, fire, water damage, or accidents occurring during transit, whether the goods are carried in our vehicles or third-party vehicles. Customers are advised to insure their goods during transit.

8. Incorrect Delivery Details

  • Customer Responsibility: It is the customer's responsibility to provide accurate delivery addresses and contact details for the receiving party.
  • Impact: Any delay, misplacement, or loss resulting from incorrect address information is the sole responsibility of the customer. Re-routing charges, if any, shall be borne by the customer.

9. Damage or Loss During Transit

Our liability for the goods typically ends once they are loaded onto the delivery vehicle at our factory premises.

  • Third-Party Logistics: Claims for transit damage must be directed to the logistics provider if third-party transport is used.
  • Limited Liability: If damage occurs during transport arranged by us and is proven to be due to our negligence, our liability is limited strictly to the processing charges of the damaged goods, not the value of the garments.

10. Inspection on Delivery

To ensure accountability, strict inspection protocols apply:

  • Immediate Check: It is the customer's responsibility to inspect goods immediately upon delivery. Quality and quantity must be verified against the delivery challan (DC).
  • Reporting Window: Any discrepancies, shortages, or visible damages must be reported within 24 hours of receipt. Claims made after this period will not be entertained as goods may have moved to subsequent production stages.

11. Policy Updates

We reserve the right to update or modify this Shipping & Delivery Policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.

12. Governing Law

This policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes related to shipping and delivery shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Tirupur, India.
